Bayern Munich midfielder Marcel Sabitzer is being linked with a move to Roma.
The player – who recently concluded an unsuccessful loan spell at Manchester United – is looking to move again as he does not fit Bayern’s long-term plans.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma represent one of the potential transfer destinations for Sabitzer as the capital club continue to seek reinforcements for Jose Mourinho’s midfield.
However, the Italian newspaper claims that Sabitzer’s salary, namely €12 million in yearly wages, remains the main obstacle in potential negotiations with the midfielder’s entourage.
