Marco Delvecchio on Roma’s aspirations: “Mourinho was born to win.”

Former Roma attacker Marco Delvecchio discussed Roma’s objectives for the upcoming campaign in a recent interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Roma’s priority for this season is to return to the Champions League and try to win another trophy.”

“Sure, if we think of last year’s Milan… anything’s possible for me, along the way, the Scudetto can be an additional motivation and it’s not impossible.”

“The question is, how much does winning push you to want to win even more? Roma hadn’t brought home a trophy in 14 years.”

“Tirana’s success and everything that happened next increased the desire to try again. Mou was born to win and is not satisfied with the rankings.”
