Marcos Alonso: “A difficult match. We have to give 100%.”

Chelsea wing back Marcos Alonso spoke at a press conference today ahead of tomorrow’s clash against Roma. Here are his words:

“Conte has done well to motivate us to change after the loss to Crystal Palace. Football changes very fast and tomorrow we already have the chance to change things. We can only work to improve. Morata? He’s ready. He’s been working very well. If he plays tomorrow, I’m sure he’ll be as good as last season.”

“Roma? A strong team, many of the guys who were there when I played in Italy are still there. It is going to be a difficult match where we have to give 100%. If I had to single out one player, it would be Dzeko. Injuries? I think when you play in different competitions and you have so many matches, it’s normal to have injuries and feel fatigued. We have worked hard to avoid these injuries and hope to prove this soon.”
