Santos attacker Marcos Leonardo commented on his desire to play in Europe in the near future after a failed summer move to Roma.
In an interview with AS, the young forward was asked about his future plans.
“I feel ready to play in a top club and in a top European league,” said the 20-year-old.
“Of course I see other young people who have already moved away and I think about it.”
“Last August I was very close to moving to Europe. There was an interesting sports project that I liked. Things didn’t go well, but I’m very professional and will continue to do my best while I’m here.”
“My approach has always been this. Do the best you can on the field in a professional manner,” he added.
