Marcos Leonardo is intent on making his transfer to Roma happen as soon as possible.

The 20-year-old attacker from Brazil recently ignored an ultimatum given to him by Santos, reports Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo.

Santos had threatened Leonardo with legal action if he were to continue to refuse to train with the rest of the team.

Leonardo, however, does no longer want to take part in any team activities and has instructed his entourage to find a solution at all costs.

Roma reignited talks with Santos over the last few hours with agent Rafaela Pimenta travelling all the way to Brazil to confront Santos management.

Last night, the Brazilian club’s board met with Pimenta and other intermediaries involved in negotiations in order to reassess the situation.
