The agent of Marcos Leonardo, Rafaela Pimenta, discussed her client’s future including his intention to move to Europe.
After being heavily linked with a move to Roma in the summer, Leonardo decided to remain at Santos until January.
Then, the player is expected to choose the best offer and move to Europe as he’s received interest from several top European clubs.
“Are Roma still interested? I think that is something that Roma, and more specifically, Tiago Pinto should answer,” Pimenta told Sky Sport.
“What I can say is that the player is ready to leave and this time there is a fixed price, there will be no need for long negotiations, the right agreement has been reached with Santos.”
“He had to stay this summer for a number of reasons, he did everything he had to do in Brazil to help the team and now he’s ready to go.”
