Earlier today the president of Olympique de Marseille – Pablo Longoria – addressed the rumors swirling around the French club and their midfielder Boubacar Kamara, recently linked with the Giallorossi during this January window.
Longoria spoke at a press conference and clarified the club’s intentions for Kamara and his future.
“In the end,” he said. “Logic will prevail.”
“We’ve held long discussions with Kamara. There is mutual respect and in the end logic will prevail: we’ll listen to what is best for both club and player.”
He concluded, “All I can say is that this situation is not pleasant for the club.”
Kamara’s contract is set to expire in June and the player is pursued by Roma and several Premier League clubs.
