Marseille, Strootman: “I remain tied to Rome. I hope the club can do well”.

Ex-Roma and current Marseille midfielder Kevin Strootman spoke to Sky Sport late yesterday following his side’s friendly match against Napoli. The Dutchman was asked about the Giallorossi, the club he joined in 2013 but departed from last summer. These are his words:

“It will be a different future for the club, I hope that Roma can do well because I played five years there and I remain very tied to the city. Do I missed it. Certainly. De Rossi and Totti were Roma, but the club made their decisions, they changed course. I hope Daniele can do well in Argentina”.
