Marseille manager Igor Tudor was recently asked to respond to fan criticism of ex-Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout ahead of tonight’s Ligue 1 fixture with Strasbourg.
“Some of the questions and issues only arise because of our lack of results,” Tudor said in his pre-match press conference appearance.
“Jordan is an exceptional player, dynamic and very intelligent,” Tudor continued. “He knows how to anticipate certain moments in the match better than anyone else.”
“He’s missed a goal here or there, but he’s still an excellent player,” concluded the former Verona boss.
