Martinez: “I won’t call Nainggolan simply because of outside pressure.”

Roberto Martinez, manager of Belgium, issued some statements regarding the lack of national team call for Radja Nainggolan. These are his words to VTM:

“I haven’t called Nainggolan due to footballing issues, but I will not call him because of the pressure coming from the outside. It would be totally wrong for the team if the manager chose players due to the pressure from the outside, it would not be right and would mean that I am not doing my job properly. Doing this would be detrimental to both the team and the fans. However, I am keeping him (Nainggolan) in mind, he is part of the 50-55 players I continuously look at.”
