Roma are playing at the Olimpico against Sassuolo.

Frederic Massara spoke to DAZN before the match.

The Giallorossi sporting director focused specifically on the transfer market and Giacomo Raspadori, the hottest name these days.

Regarding the Atlético Madrid striker, he said: “We are in advanced negotiations. A decision could be made in the next 24 hours. We’ll have the final verdict on this deal soon.”

Roma expects a definitive “yes” for the former Napoli striker on Sunday.

Massara also spoke about Joshua Zirkzee and Robinio Vaz: “Vaz seems like a great talent, but it seems unlikely at this time. I don’t think Marseille would want to let him go, and if they did, there would be strong competition.”

“Zirkzee? Right now, United have closed off all transfer discussions; it seems highly unlikely to me.”

He then spoke about Ferguson: “He’s here and he’s giving us a huge hand. He was born in 2004 and is constantly growing. We’re happy with him and to see him on the pitch tonight. What we hope for is to see him here for the entire season, we’ll see.”
