Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri spoke in favor of Roma’s recent display versus Milan at San Siro on Thursday night.

In a recent media appearance, Allegri was asked about the state of Italian football and the comparisons to other leagues from Europe’s Top 5 list.

“Real-City was an extraordinary match of the highest technical level,” Allegri told reporters. “I enjoyed watching the Real match, and I had fun with PSG-Barcelona, Liverpool-Atalanta and last but not least, Milan-Roma.”

“Here in Italy we have to be very confident in what we have. Serie A may be ranked lower than others, but last year Roma reached the Europa League final, Inter reached the Champions League final and Fiorentina were in the Conference League final.”

“These are positive signs we must all build on,” concluded Allegri.
