Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri paid special mention to the Giallorossi, whom he now considers direct rivals for a Champions League spot in Serie A standings.
During today’s press conference, Allegri discussed his team’s ups and downs and the readjusted ambitions for the current season.
“The same team can’t always win,” said the Tuscan technician. “Juventus experienced nine exceptional years and then there a change took place.”
“The important thing is to play the Champions League every year, for the Italian movement it means, for many teams, 30% of financial turnover for many and for Juve it is 20%, but you have to get into it, it’s not easy.”
“This year has become more complicated – Roma are back in the race, Napoli are still there, then there are also Fiorentina and Atalanta and the surprise that is Bologna.”
