Former Inter president Massimo Moratti – a close personal friend of Jose Mourinho’s and collaborator during their treble-winning years at Inter – shared his opinion on the Special One’s decision to turn down Portugal’s offer for their managerial vacancy.
“It’s a personal choice of his,” Moratti told SportPaper. “But I think it was very brave of Mourinho to make such a decision.”
“This just shows how professional and respectful he is of his contract with Roma and his duty at the club. It reflects the man’s professional nature,” concluded Moratti.
