Matchday 4: Hellas Verona-Roma Preview

John Solano

Roma will look to extend their unbeaten streak to seven when they travel to Veneto tomorrow to face Hellas Verona at the Stadio Bentegodi.

The Giallorossi and manager Josè Mourinho have started the season in sensational form, scoring 19 goals and conceding only 4 in all competitions.

Though, Roma’s depth will be tested with first choice left back, Matias Viña, missing out on the clash due to a minor knee sprain.

On the other side, it’s been the exact opposite for early season stragglers Hellas Verona.

After three matchdays, the Venetian side still haven’t collected a point, which led to their decision to sack manager Eusebio Di Francesco.

Former Udinese boss Igor Tudor replaced Di Francesco and will be tasked with implementing a better defensive approach. Verona have struggled at the back in the early onset, already surrendering 7 goals.

The two sides face off tomorrow evening at 18.00 CET at the Stadio Bentegodi in Verona.
