Marco Materazzi, former Inter defender, was interviewed by gasport and was asked about Serie A and also Roma. These are his words:
“Juve and Napoli are the most prepared and equipped teams (in Serie A). Also, they have kept the same core for years. Behind them? I like Roma and Di Francesco. A person’s intelligence is to remain faithful to their ideas and to change if there is a need to change. For example, El Shaarawy played close to nothing at first, however, he has been decisive in the last few matches. When you are not playing it is never fun, but if you enter a match and change it, that means that whoever handles you has been able to create the right empathy.”
”Nainggolan? There is only one Nainggolan in the world. Three years ago, he was still attainable (for Inter) as he cost €10-12 million, but Inter could not even have small expenses back then.”
