Mateus Vital: “Roma is a great club but no official offer has arrived”.

John Solano

Corinthians attacker Mateus Vital sooke to Globoesporte after his side’s match against Fluminense and was asked about the interest of Roma. It emerged yesterday that the Giallorossi are interested in bringing the versatile attacker to the capital to replace the injured Diego Perotti. These are his words:

“I was taken by surprise. I arrived in the dressing room and there were some people who wrote to me. I made it clear to my agent that he should come to me only when he has something concrete, an official proposal. So far nothing has arrived. Corinthians is a great club, like Roma. But my thoughts and my total focus is here. I’ll be a father soon as my daughter is about to be born. I am very happy to be here, in a club that I’ve learned to love, and also with teammates and a technical staff that welcomed me with open arms”.
