Matías Soulé is set to become a Roma player in the coming days.

The decisive offer from Roma director Florent Ghisolfi was 26 million plus 4 bonuses (two easy ones to reach and the rest more difficult), thus reaching the 30 million euros fee requested by Juve’s Cristiano Giuntoli.

The final discussions concerned the percentage of the Argentinian’s future resale: Juve demanded 20% while the offer received from Trigoria contained no recognition for the Bianconeri.

Overnight the agreement reached the halfway point, setting it at 10%.

According to Il Tempo, Soulé’s willingness to join the Giallorossi proved decisive as he always declared that he wanted only Roma, despite Juventus pushing for foreign solutions.

The player declined all options from the Premier League in favor of a future at Roma.
