Roma defender Matias Vina was asked to come on late in the second half of Betis-Roma to replace a fatigued Leonardo Spinazzola. The Uruguayan fullback was interviewed by the club after the final whistle.
“It was a difficult, tough game – they play well,” said Vina. ”We had to prove we wanted to win, in the second half we did.”
“Now we have to continue like this and win the next two games and then think about the playoffs.”
“Coming off the bench? We have to prepared at all times. It doesn’t matter whether we have injuries or not. The coach decides who plays, and I’m ready to help the team.”
