Matias Vina discussed his time in the Italian capital in a recent interview following his move to Sassuolo.
After spending a year and a half with the Giallorossi, Vina completed a loan spell at Bournemouth in the Premier League before joining Sassuolo on loan for the upcoming season.
In an interview with the Neroverdi, Vina said, “I have to work a bit more than the others because I didn’t prepare with any team during pre-season, I worked alone for the most part. I’m still not 100% fit, I’ve been here for two weeks and I’ve been working with my teammates.”
“Bournemouth? I really enjoyed my time there. The Premier League is very strong, it’s a different world… It’s a little ahead of everyone, it’s more intense, but I had a good time. I went to play because I didn’t have much space in Rome and it suited me fine.”
“At Roma I started playing well, then I had less space and didn’t play as much anymore, but it was a good experience. I arrived from Brazil and learned a lot during my time in the capital,” said Vina.
