Matías Viña excluded from Uruguay call-up

With the international break resuming after the weekend, Roma have been paying close attention to the status of Matías Viña.

The Uruguayan international sustained a light knock to the thigh muscle during the game against Milan which ruled him out for last night’s Conference League clash vs Bodo.

Now, the player has been excluded from Uruguay’s national team squad to face Bolivia and Argentina.

Viña will miss out on Sunday’s match away at Venezia and continue his recovery at Trigoria in order to be at Jose Mourinho’s disposal as soon as possible.
