Matías Viña to sign contract with Roma tomorrow

Roma have found their Spinazzola fill-in: Matías Viña is one step away from signing with Roma. The deal is about to be completed, with the player possibly landing in the capital in the coming days.

Sky Sport report that Roma have reached an agreement with Palmeiras for the Uruguayan left-back with an offer amounting to €10 million plus €3 million in bonuses. The Roman club wanted to close the deal as soon as possible in order for the player to be at Mourinho’s disposal in preseason training in Portugal (where he will join the rest of the team).

Tomorrow, with personal terms already agreed upon, Roma want to complete final paperwork with the player and his agent and consequently complete the transfer following Viña’s signature.
