The future of Uruguayan full-back Matias Viña at the club remains uncertain, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Brought in the summer of 2021 as a last-minute replacement following Leonardo Spinazzola’s injury at EURO 2020, Viña has failed to provide consistent output on the left flank.
More recently, the Uruguayan international has only feature in two of Roma’s last six games.
Mourinho has preferred to deploy either Ainsley Maitland-Niles or even youngster Nicola Zalewski.
The Italian newspaper reports that the Giallorossi will likely consider incoming offers for Viña in the upcoming transfer window.
