Roma midfielder Nemanja Matic underlined his team’s ambitions to finish top four place and life under manager Jose Mourinho following the Giallorossi’s 2-0 victory over Spezia.
The Giallorossi extended their unbeaten streak to seven and prepare to face league leaders Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona next Sunday.
“It’s very important for us to finish top four, this club deserves to play in the Champions League,” the Serbian told DAZN.
“Mourinho? He’s always the same, he’s much easier to work with when you’re winning but it gets tougher when you lose.”
Adding, “He’s always been very passionate and emotional, Mourinho is always Mourinho: he’ll never change.”
