Mats Hummels is ready to make his debut as a starter for Roma, after joining the team as a free agent.
He will make his debut in the Europa League against Dynamo Kiev, on Thursday 24 October, at the Olimpico, writes Corriere della Sera.
The German defender has not played an official match since 1 June, when he took part in the Champions League final. Hummels’ last appearance was with Borussia Dortmund, in the defeat against Real Madrid.
Now, however, the defender finally feels ready to return to the pitch.
He revealed that he was recently stopped by a fever, but has recovered his fitness and feels ready to make his contribution.
