Roma are keeping a close eye on Cagliari midfielder Matteo Prati who continues to be linked as a transfer target.
The Giallorossi are in fact looking to strengthen their midfield before the end of the summer.
In recent days, Bryan Cristante’s position at the club was put into question with reports claiming that the 29-year-old is no longer considered indispensable.
As a result of this, Corriere dello Sport reports that Roma could still make use of their contacts with Matteo Prati’s entourage.
The young Italian midfielder is one of Daniele De Rossi’s personal favorites, having coached him at his start of his career at SPAL.
The newspaper writes that Prati can be brought in in case of offers for Cristante or Paredes.
