Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri made a series of accusations following his side’s loss to Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli earlier tonight. The Italian technician did not mince words in his post-match interview, hinting at a plot against Lazio on the part of the refereeing association and the rest of the league.
“There is very little to comment on,” said the ex-Chelsea boss in an interview with Sky Sport. “Either these referees are incompetent or there is another option which is even more worrying.”
“The referees have been biased since the beginning of the season and they let us know about it because they constantly shower us with yellow cards.”
“The designator must take action. We were in great difficulty at the start of the second half, but then we grew more confident and came close to finding the equalizer. The way this happened and continues to happen makes us angry.”
