Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri spoke about his rapport with Jose Mourinho.
The ex-Chelsea boss was asked to recall his days at Stamford Bridge when Mourinho was leading Manchester United and the two got into a heated confrontation.
“I personally have no rivalry with him,” Sarri told Sportitalia. “I like him, I got to talk to him, he’s intelligent. Something happened in a Chelsea-United match where he could have taken advantage of it in the media and he didn’t.”
“He took into account the age of my staff member and he proved to be a man. I have respect for him.”
