Former Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri was asked to share a brief comment on the recent Biancocelesti defeat to Roma in the Derby della Capitale.
The Tuscan coach – who resigned from his post as the team’s manager a few weeks ago, and was eventually replaced by Igor Tudor – spoke to Il Messaggero in light of Lazio’s recent loss in the derby.
“Unfortunately this time Roma did what Lazio typically do,” Sarri told the Italian newspaper.
The ex-Biancocelesti coach watched the match in Tuscany after resigning a month ago.
Roma returned to winning ways against Lazio two years after the last time when it ended 3-0 in their favor with Mourinho on the Giallorossi bench.
