Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri reaffirmed his focus on the upcoming Derby della Capitale as part of the Coppa Italia quarterfinals.
After Lazio’s 2-1 win over Udinese earlier today, Sarri spoke to DAZN about the Biancocelesti’s mentality heading into the second Rome derby of the season.
“I don’t like the way the competition works,” Sarri said of the Coppa Italia. “Honestly, I don’t care about Coppa Italia. I’m not interested in it. All I care about is the derby.”
Sarri also shared an update on the conditions of Luis Alberto: “Luis Alberto could recover in time. The same cannot be said about Immobile.”
