Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri hit back at rival coach Jose Mourinho for his comments regarding the Biancocelesti’s recent exit from the Conference League.
Following Lazio’s victory in the Derby della Capitale, Sarri said about the importance of this match, “In my career I’ve played many important matches, even in stadiums like the Bernabeu, but I’ve always slept the night before the match. Not this time.”
“The Roman derby puts such pressure on you every time you play. And the more you experience it, the more this pressure increases. We are especially happy for the people of Lazio.”
“Mourinho? I like Jose, but this time we won the derby and are not interested in what he’s got to say about it,” he added.
