Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri was upset with the match official’s decision-making in last night’s loss to Salernitana at the Stadio Olimpico. A yellow card cost Sergej Milinkovic-Savic the upcoming Derby della Capitale due to an accumulation of yellows.
The Tuscan technician criticised this decision in his post-match press conference, alluding to more favourable refereeing with regards to Roma.
“This year I saw Karsdorp put his hands on a match official and not get suspended… I would us like us to get the same treatment,” he told reporters after the game.
“If I say what I really think of this decision they will have me banned for the next six months,” Sarri concluded.
