Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri was upset over the match official’s decision to hand Sergej Milinkovic-Savic a yellow card in tonight’s loss to Salernitana which ultimately will cause the Serbian midfielder to miss out on the upcoming Derby della Capitale with Jose Mourinho’s Roma.

“It wasn’t even a foul, let alone a yellow card,” Sarri told DAZN after the final whistle to Lazio-Salernitana. “I haven’t seen anything like it in fifty years. Milinkovic-Savic was in possession when it happened!”

“If I say what I really think about this decision they’ll have me banned for six months,” he added.

“Immobile? I don’t know if he’ll make it for the derby. Tomorrow he will undergo a check-up, and that’s when we’ll know more.”
