Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri was asked about his side’s attitude heading into the return leg with AZ Alkmaar down 1-2.
The Italian technician, however, reiterated Lazio’s priority of preparing for the Derby della Capitale instead.
“I have to be completely honest,” Sarri said in his post-match presser after Bologna-Lazio.
“This is a match that must be seen from the point of view of the match we will play three days later and if I have to make a choice, between Alkmaar and Roma, I choose the derby.”
