Tonight’s victory with Helsinki at the Stadio Olimpico was attended by the Mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, who took the opportunity to meet with Roma owner Dan Friedkin.
After the game, Gualtieri was interviewed by reports and the public official confirmed that the capital club plan to present the project for Roma’s stadium in October.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Gualtieri said, “The Friedkins have told me that in October Roma will present the new stadium project in Pietralata.”
“We are very happy and satisfied with this proposal. We will examine it carefully,” he concluded.
