Discussions are underway for Roma’s long-awaited stadium project which entails the deadline for 2027.
The Mayor of the city of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, recently stressed the urgence with which the matter is being treated by his office and other local authorities.
At an event at Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone, Gualtieri said, “Rome will benefit from the €570 million investment in the Roma Stadium, not only a large sports facility but also an intervention without additional volume which will contribute to the sustainable regeneration of the area of Pietralata.”
“As far as our skills are concerned, we will do everything to allow the club’s centenary to be celebrated in the new stadium in 2027.”
