Given his extremely limited playing so far into the season, Roma attacker Borja Mayoral may be already looking to move on from the Italian capital.
After a career-best season in the 20/21 campaign (17 goals and 6 assists), Mayoral is likely to halt his spell at Roma once the current season comes to an end.
According to La Nazione, Fiorentina are interested in Mayoral. He’s among the candidates considered to replace Dusan Vlahovic who recently declined a renewal with Rocco Commisso’s club.
Fiorentina may get him at favorable conditions for his parent club, Real Madrid – loan with obligation to buy.
It remains to be seen whether Mayoral is yet to make his big break this season, however it seems evident that Jose Mourinho does not think of him as highly as he does of Tammy Abraham and Eldor Shomurodov.
