RomaPress – It’s a negotiation that still has to be “unlocked” but Roma are doing all they can to bring Carles Pérez to the Italian capital.
The agent of the Spanish attacker, Arturo Canales, is currently meeting with Barcelona to try and find a compromise between the Catalans and Roma.
Despite having an agreement in place on a transfer fee, the stumbling block to Pérez joining the Giallorossi remains Barcelona’s insistence on a buyback clause being inserted into the deal. Roma sporting director Gianluca Petrachi insisted in an interview before the match against Lazio that no buyback clause would be included in the deal should Pérez ultimately join the club.
As of now, though, Barcelona are unwilling to move off of their request.
