Roma are working toward strengthening the team during the upcoming January transfer window.
The priority is in the midfield, with Denis Zakaria of Borussia Mönchengladbach as Roma’s main target for the position.
According to calciomercato.it, General Manager Tiago Pinto is reportedly scheduled to meet with Fali Ramadani, Zakaria’s agent, in the coming weeks.
The capital club want to secure the deal for the January transfer window and are ready to pay around €5 million for the Swiss international whose contract is set to expire in June 2022.
Roma are intent on beating the competition with several Premier League clubs interested in Zakaria.
