Meeting scheduled for tomorrow for Stadio della Roma

Il Tempo journalist Fernando Magliaro has reported that a video conference meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow on Rome’s Capitol Hill regarding AS Roma’s proposed new stadium, the Stadio della Roma.

Reportedly, Virginia Raggi, the mayor of Rome, and the rest of her Movimento Cinque Stelle party will discuss the stadium project of the Giallorossi tomorrow.

The club is currently awaiting final approval from the city to begin construction on the project, which was first introduced in 2014.

Stadium construction has been delayed for several years due to bureaucratic tripe presented both by Raggi and various government agencies throughout the city.

The 52,000 seat stadium is expected to take at least two years to construct.
