The club and the player’s entourage have been having discussions regarding the renewal over the course of the summer transfer window. Everything points to the player nearing the signing of his much wanted extension soon.
According to Sky Sport, Tiago Pinto is currently meeting with Pellegrini’s agent, Giampiero Pocetta. The parties are at work to finalize the last details of the renewal. Both parties are optimistic about the outcome of the deal.
Pellegrini is likely to sign a renewal worth €4 million including bonuses per season, making him one of the top earners at the club along with Tammy Abraham.
