Roma defender Mert Çetin is joining Hellas Verona.
The Gialloblù have been in talks for the Turkish defender for some time and the parties have finally reached an agreement as Çetin will undergo his medical examinations tomorrow.
The deal closed on the basis of a loan with an option to buy with a counter-option in favor of Roma, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Turkish defender has not been included in the Roma’s UEFA list for their Europa League adventure, which recommences on Thursday against Sevilla.
The 23 year-old joined Roma last summer from Turkish side Gençlerbirliği for a fee of €3 million plus a 10% sell-on clause not to exceed €5 million.
The defender will depart the Italian capital after having made a total of six appearances this term.
