One of the new names linked with Roma in the last few days is that of Georges Mikautadze, center forward of Metz.

The French team has just been relegated to Ligue 2 and the Georgian star could thus leave before the end of the summer.

The president of the club, Bernard Serin, commented on Mukautadze’s future in an interview with Moselle TV.

“There is competition for him,” said Serin. “Several clubs are interested in him and things are progressing slowly, but there could be an acceleration in the next week with important updates.”

“There is no fixed fee on the player, there is competition and that’s nice,” he added.
