Mihajlovic: “I was close to Roma”.

After having renewed his contract with Bologna, Sinisa Mihajlovic spoke to Sky Sport and admitted he was close to joining Roma. These are his words:

“How close was I to Roma? Very close, then I realised that from an environmental point of view they were not ready to do certain things, I was…but they weren’t. I would’ve had to go to war on my own so I moved on. I thanked everyone and moved on. The Lazio supporters labeled me a traitor? I’m not a traitor. I’m a professional. It would have been a nice experience”.
