Milan were left stunned this evening after an incredible late comeback from Roma saw the sides settle for a 2-2 draw at the San Siro.

The Giallorossi scored twice in the final ten minutes, including a goal from Tammy Abraham in extra time, shock Stefano Pioli’s men and snap the Rossoneri’s home winning streak in Serie A.

The draw also marked the first time the Rossoneri dropped points at home since mid-September when they lost 1-0 to Napoli.

Despite all the goals scored, both sides failed to create many attacking opportunities from open play, with 3 of 4 goals coming from set pieces.

Milan were the first to capitalise in the first half when Pierre Kalulu lost Roger Ibanez and headed home past Rui Patricio.

It would remain 1-0 until late in the second half, when the hosts added to their lead. Tommaso Pobega finished perfectly from a superb pass from Rafael Leao and appeared to put the tie out of reach.

However, two late corner kicks from the Giallorossi would doom Milan. The first came from Roger Ibanez, who made up for his defensive error by heading home in the 83rd minute.

With the comeback back on, Roma would earn their much deserved point in the dying minutes thanks to Tammy Abraham.

The Englishman pounced on a rebound from Nemanja Matic’s header and glided the ball past Ciprian Tatrusanu to secure a 2-2 draw.
