Milan boss Stefano Pioli deems Roma dangerous opponent

AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli addressed the media ahead of tomorrow’s showdown at the Olimpico in Rome.

On Roma:

“Roma are unbeaten at home, they are the only ones who drew with Napoli.”

“They have talent, quality and character. Roma is an important opponent.”

On what tomorrow’s match means for Milan:

“All matches are exams, we prepare to pass a difficult exam. We believe we are well prepared and ready.”

“The game will be challenging. Roma have a great mentality and character.”

On what impressed him about Roma thus far:

“The most important aspect is the character: against Napoli they were aggressive, with great physicality and determination.”

“We should also expect a difficult environment. We must be sharp from a technical point of view and lucid in our choices.”

“We also must watch out for set-pieces and limit the effectiveness of Pellegrini and Veretout who take them.”

On attacker Ante Rebic’s availability :
