Milan manager Stefano Pioli briefly discussed the upcoming Serie A fixture with Roma after their win with Lecce.
“I told the team that today’s match and the next one in Rome will determine our final placement in the league,” Pioli told DAZN earlier this evening.
“We don’t need any other stimuli, we know how important it is to try to reach whoever we have in front of us and try to win the most in this final stretch of the season.”
“The derby in the Champions League will be fantastic. But there’s time, we have to stay focused and think about Saturday’s match against a strong, fit team with a great coach. We’ll know how to deal with them.”
