Alessandro Florenzi’s move to Milan has taken a sudden halt over the last 48 hours.
The two clubs have yet to reach an agreement on the formula that would send the 30-year-old fullback to Milan after two consecutive loan spells in Spain with Valencia and France with PSG.
While Milan prefer for it to be a loan with option to buy, Roma insist on making the deal permanent by inserting an obligation to buy at €6-7 million.
According to Il Tempo, Milan have come forward with another offer: a straight swap involving Andrea Conti.
Conti, 27 years old, and excluded from Milan’s plans spent last season on loan at Parma after a series of grave injuries. The player totaled only 62 Serie A appearances over the last 4 years.
Roma are unlikely to accept such an offer as the club prefer to monetize off Florenzi’s eventual sale.
