Milan to exercise permanent option on Florenzi

Alessandro Florenzi

Alessandro Florenzi’s future is bound to continue unfolding in the North of Italy after two unsuccessful loan spells with Valencia and PSG.

The 31-year-old has, according to calciomercato.com, convinced directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara to exercise the option included in his loan.

Milan are expected to make his move permanent for €4.5 million in June, with coach Stefano Pioli having already given his approval for the deal to go through.

The Italian international has so far featured in 20 league appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring one goal.
