Milan captain Davide Calabria was not happy about his side’s dropped points in tonight’s draw with Roma.
The Italian fullback sounded irritated with Milan’s attitude late in the second half, which enabled Roma to get back into the game and return to the capital with a precious point.
“We were stupid enough to think we were going to win it, and in the end we didn’t,” Calabria told DAZN after the final whistle.
“We had a very good game and, honestly, wasting it like that is something you should never do. I think the only way they could have hurt us was on set pieces. They’re the best when it comes to set pieces.”
“Those were the only chances they needed. We were stupid enough to hand them to them. The way we dropped points tonight honestly pisses me off. We must learn from such mistakes.”
